Here is another kitbash inspired by Battlestar Galactica, the new TV series. It could be a Heavy Cylon Raider, since it's big, agressive, with a centurion-like head. It's made from a F/A-18 super Hornet 1/48 model kit, with some add ons from Gundam and Star Trek kits, other planes, like a Mosquito, and so on... Sanding was not easy but I managed to do it smoothly enough to obtain a metallic look on the surface. Copper up, blue metallic down. The typical red eye look of the cylon is a simple red jewelry, a pearl, cut in two parts. |
