This is my Polar Lights 1st pilot TOS Enterprise. I painted it according to my DVD of "The Cage". The base coat is Testors Flat Gull Gray. First, I noticed that the entire dorsal has a green tint to it. I painted mine with the base coat with a few drops of Testors Field Green. Second, I noticed that the deflector dish has the same color as the nacelle domes. I painted both with Krylon Red Primer with a semi gloss clear coat. This color also resembles the color on the DVDs of both pilot episodes. The decals are a mix of the Polar Lights, and PNT decals. I finished with a Tamaya clear coat. |
