1/350th NX-01 Enterprise

By Trenton Bennett

Here is my build up of the 1/350th NX-01 Enterprise model from Polar Lights. I started off by spraying Rust-Oleum Primer on the outside of the kit, then went over the kit with Krylon Satin Nickel spray paint. I then went through and added all the detailed paint to the parts as per the kits instructions.  However, I thought the clear blue for the engines and deflector dish were too dark, so I went with a regular bright blue instead.

The decals were for the following:

  1.  Kit decals, that came with the model (more or less)
  2.  Acreation Decals for the aztecting
  3.  PNT Models for the battle damage

It took me a good two months to build the kit as I took more time than usual.  This was my first kit in 5-7 years and I thought I did a fairly good job on it and am pleased with the results.  I do have to build a new stand for the model as the original one that came with the kit broke on me.
