These models are the Polar lights 1/1000 Klingon D7 and the AMT Bird of Prey from the three piece Adversary set.

I built them years ago and they have been in a box ever since. I never got around to making proper display stands, and I probably never will. I rarely build sci-fi models as they are intended to be, and when I built these I decided they were all 1/2500 scale. Some things in Star Trek don't make sense to me - Why is it that the BOP with it's puny engines, can travel among the stars just like all the other starships which require massive warp engines? My BOPs are not capable of warp speed, therefore require the help of the larger D7 for long distance travel. The two vessels can remain connected and act as one ship, or separate and operate independently.

The models are painted with acrylic craft paints, and small magnets were used to connect the ships together.
