This is my version of the Alien Attacker from the movie Independence Day. I did not paint it as it was seen in the film as I wanted to use the metalizer paints I had left over from a previous build. I constructed innards that could be seen through the breach in the hull which really gives it dimension and depth. Up to this point the only battle damage I had inflicted upon models was scorch marks, bullet holes, and shrapnel hits. I was inspired by Quincy Sapien's NX-01 and his Voyager Enterprise. This guy is a master of realistic damage and everyone should take a look at his work. This was my first attempt at severe battle damage and I was satisfied with the results.
