I used to make model aeroplanes in my youth, but stopped until I had kids. My first son got heavily into Star Wars (so proud!), and I took this as an excuse to make some models to hang from his ceiling; hence the dust. The A wing is one I did a couple of years ago. It is an AMT/ERTL kit. I didn't do much to modify it apart from removing most of the raised panel lines (who thought raised panel lines were a good idea?). The cockpit cover is evidence that we don't have Future in Australia. I am most happy with the blood red section which turned out just like I wanted it. The scorch marks on the underside now look like a bad idea.
