The model is an AMT/ERTL 1/25 Challenger from "Vanishing Point". iI wanted a car to rival the INTERCEPTOR on the brutal open roads of the post-apocalyptic future, so I decided to cover the car in bull bars and armour made from the plastic sprue tree that the model comes with. The luggage rack on the back of the car is covered in tissue paper smeared with superglue to replicate a cloth covered rack. I then used a hot knife and soldering iron to "battle damage" the Challenger. The model was then sprayed black and then heavily weathered.
